Nothing is shared with the brands
Your data is private, by default. Out of the box, no brand sees what you read, click or buy.
Invite-only beta
EmailEQ is where the onslaught of marketing email goes. Every offer and deal businesses want to send you is scanned, analyzed and presented as one cohesive shopping experience.
EmailEQ is invite-only for now. Your data is private by default.
Point your marketing mail at your EmailEQ address. Your personal inbox gets quieter immediately.
Every email is scanned and analyzed for the offer, the code, the minimum spend and when it expires.
Browse every deal by brand and offer, sorted and searchable, instead of digging through hundreds of emails.
How we use your data
Your data is private, by default. Out of the box, no brand sees what you read, click or buy.
If you choose to share info with your favorite brands, we negotiate with them on your behalf for deals that may be more interesting to you, ones they would never offer to just anyone. We recommend reserving data sharing for the brands you trust and actually want to buy from.
In some cases, when you let a brand see what you're interested in or how you interact with their content, we allow them to place their content ahead of others. We will always disclose this directly on the content, and give you a way to tell us not to do it again.
Our goal is to only show you interesting content. If we missed the mark, let us know!
The business model, in plain words
As described in how we use your data, we offer brands the opportunity to pay for placement. You remain in complete control: this feature is opt in, and you can always opt out in the future.
We sell anonymous, generalized data to brands about the performance of their campaigns: whether, on average, people interacted with their offers and whether they flagged an offer as good or bad. We never share who did it, only that it was done. There must be enough data that a brand cannot reverse engineer whose behavior we're describing.
We use the general patterns of email sent by different brands to inform their competitors. For example, if a sporting goods store sends a $10 off $20 promo, then a reminder a few days later, other sporting goods stores are interested in that. Again, it is all completely anonymous and cannot be reverse engineered to discover who received it.
Our goal is to help you find the best deal, while giving the brands you love a chance to reward you for being loyal. In the quest for privacy (cough Apple cough) we've forgotten that people actually care about the companies they buy from, and want the option to share information with them when it's to their own benefit.
